Tom Holmes Joins hmc2 of Stowe as Marketing Director

Stowe, VT—May 30, 2008—hmc2 announces that Tom Holmes of Burlington has joined the company as marketing director, a newly-created position.

Holmes, 38, will lead strategic marketing initiatives for hmc2’s clients and oversee the team responsible for tactical communications implementation. According to Veronica Williams, president and managing partner of the agency, “Tom is incredibly well-versed in the intricacies of brand development and delivery, and his expertise across all marketing channels brings enormous value to our clients.” Williams also notes that Holmes’ hiring is part of a strategic evolution of the company as it morphs from the former HMC Advertising to hmc2, a solutions-oriented marketing company.

Holmes comes to hmc2 after spending six years at Kelliher Samets Volk in Burlington, Vermont. There he served as a senior brand manager and led key client accounts such as Unicel, Carpet One Floor & Home, Stowe Mountain Resort, Chittenden Bank, and Sugarbush Resort.

Previously, Holmes spent over a decade honing his marketing skills at some of the best shops in Boston, including a seven-year stint at Allen & Gerritsen as director of business development.
