Paula Bazluke
Media DirectorWe hate to say it, but it’s true: Paula Bazluke is the world’s biggest cheerleader. All we can figure is that her aberrant fondness for pink has colored her whole view with a rosy hue. But peel back the sweet demeanor and you’ll find one tough planner. Across the bargaining table, Paula has been known to get media reps to willingly concede their shirt, and be happy while they’re doing it. It’s a skill she honed as the oldest of six kids, Paula knew she needed to figure out a clever method for getting her way sometimes. And it’s what’s led to her well-earned alias in the media community: The Velvet Hammer. Paula doesn’t have many (any?) secrets. Or for that matter, a dark side. Which makes her disgustingly delightful to work with. That, and the fact that she really, really knows her stuff after two decades in the biz (WPTZ, Paul Kaza Associates, The Genesis Group, and the official McDonald’s Media Buying School all grace her résumé).
Paula figured out early that she needn’t travel over the rainbow to discover there’s no place like home. The proof? She was born in Vermont, schooled in Vermont and now lives and works in Vermont. Her outlook, however, is incredibly worldly. Put concisely, she gets it. Which could have something to do with why she ultimately opted not to become a nun. Or turn her Powerball-picking stint into a career. Instead, she made her way to hmc2. A decision we’re all the better for. Paula resides in Essex with her high-school-sweetheart-turned-husband and two children who are—of course—perfect.
