We should explain. While our name smacks of one of the infamous caffeine-induced agency epiphanies that somehow got legs, there is some solid thinking behind our moniker. Here it is: Even way back when, our “founding fathers” knew that Harwood-Moses-Chambers sounded more like a law firm than a creative hotbed. And so—admen to the core—hmc was born. Short. Sweet. And sassy (well, for the times).
The 2, as in hmc2, is a whole other story. Actually, a whole new story. When the reins were passed to the next generation in 2005, the agency name begged for more. So, it took on a 2. As in, the new iteration… to the next power…the supreme evolution…2.0…not your father’s Oldsmobile. You get the picture. Behind that little two is a pretty big objective—a whole new focus on leveraging creativity across every part of a client’s marketing plan. From original concepts to interesting deliveries. Read: fresh ideas that work. And that can bring your brand to the next level too. That is, with a little coffee.
